The artist Luca Marchetti

Photography, for me, is the medium through which I try to convey what is unseen in the world.
Each work arises from a reflection on the human condition: the memory that shapes us, the freedom we pursue, the fears that imprison us, time that changes the meaning of things, the fragile balance between who we are and who we believe ourselves to be.
I don’t seek reality. I seek what reality leaves within us.
My photographs are constructed as visual metaphors. The image isn’t intended to provide answers, but to raise questions.
