The artist’s thoughts on the work
A long wait for the right light and the train to pass simultaneously, for this work designed to convey that moment when the patience of waiting runs out. So much time has passed that the final moments become interminable: you’re almost there. The desire to return to where you came from is inversely proportional to distance.
