Artist Biography Luca Marchetti

Born in Terni in 1973, he discovered photography as a child. In 1979, with a SLR in hand, he began taking his first photographs. During those same years, he also cultivated a passion for music, studying piano until the age of thirteen. Two different forms
of expression, united by the search for harmony, balance, and the ability to evoke emotion.

Life led him to a long period away from photography. But some passions never fade: they remain silently waiting. When he picked up the camera again, he discovered that that gaze remained intact. From that moment,
he understood that photography was not simply a passion, but an expressive necessity.

In 2005, he decided to turn that vocation into a profession. She collaborates with newspapers and photojournalism agencies, creating advertising campaigns, wedding services, and editorial projects, refining a technique that over the years has become the basis of an increasingly personal artistic research.

2007 marked a turning point. A forced break led him to reflect deeply on the meaning of photography in his life. This resulted in “La Condemnation of Ossessione,” a symbolic work that speaks to the visceral connection between artist and creation. Although the work is not included in the catalog, it remains one of the most representative works of his career.

In 2008, he participated in the Creative Quality Award in Professional Photography, where his work “La libertà del volo” received a Special Mention as an emerging artist, confirming the value of his artistic research.

Since 2010, Luca Marchetti has focused on fine art photography, creating the Limited Edition collection. Each work is produced in a maximum run of just seven copies, printed on high-quality canvas, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and archived in the artist’s official register. A choice that guarantees exclusivity, authenticity, and long-lasting collectible value.

That same year, he began exhibiting in solo and group shows. Since 2013, he has collaborated with a national art gallery, entering an exhibition circuit that has led him to participate in shows in Italy and abroad, receiving awards, recognition, and
praise from critics and collectors.

Also in 2013, he filed the trademark L M Art, officially registered on March 17, 2014, as a further guarantee of the authenticity and recognizability of his works.

Today, Luca Marchetti continues his artistic research with the same intensity as his beginnings. Each photograph is born from the encounter between technique, intuition, and emotion, transforming a unique moment into a work destined to last. His creations are not simply photographs to be observed, but works to be experienced: unique or limited-edition pieces designed to enter private collections, enhance exclusive spaces, and accompany those who choose them with the silent power of art.
